If your weight is up and down more than a brides nighty, try this

I recently watched a documentary on Netflix called Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead.

It chronicles the journey of an Australian bloke who had a health condition and went on a 60 day juice fast to *save* his life.

Although juicing is great, its not the point I wanted to speak about today.

Something else struck me.

One of the Doctors said, “why are people so fat and sick?”.

He said: “it’s because of Nutritional ignorance”.

Id never heard it called that before, I thought it was a good term to explain the fact that most people are “Fat, sick and nearly dead” because they aren’t getting any nutrients as they are always eating junk.

Your body needs lots of nutrients to work properly.

One of the signs that you’re not getting enough nourishment, and your out of whack, is that you gain weight really fast.

Like 7-10lbs in a matter of days.

Then you have to go on a diet to lose it.

Next thing you know your weight is up and down more than a brides nighty.

You almost start to accept that’s the way it is, but let me assure you, its not normal to gain that much weight, that fast, even if you were on an all inclusive and have beer and chips for breakfast.

Anyway, if you’re not careful, gaining it fast (and then losing it fast) over and over, can lead to you becoming weaker and having NO ENERGY.

I know, you know, you wont find any important nutrients in JUNK FOODS.

But that doesn’t stop you from eating them.

Because they are delicious.

The important nutrients that I speak of are of course found in fruits and vegetables and other nutrient dense foods like nuts and seeds.

Delicious.

Said no-one EVER.

In an ideal world you want something that tastes like a hot dog, but nourishes you like broccoli.
