Just a relatively short post this week, nothing too deep.
Just a few home videos (not that kind). The kind where my wife, my son and I all have a go at doing an exercise routine, plus try to teach you a few things in the process.
Not sure we have achieved the latter, but it’s worth a watch just for a laugh at what us “Clarke’s” get up to out our back garden.
If you can’t do pull ups then this video will help you. I teamed up with a sexist batman, (and before you say, he didn’t get it from me) batman will show you how you can build your way up to a full pull up.
Pull ups are one of the most difficult exercises you can do. It develops strength and endurance and works pretty much every muscle in your upper body so it is a great move to have in your training armory.
As I mentioned if you aren’t quite there yet then start by using a resistance band and slowly work it up to full pull ups. Or try a lat pull down.
Exercise video 2 is with my wife Ellie and is for all the ladies who are aiming to get a flatter stomach, although the exercise is still great for men too.
This is an abdominal exercise being demonstrated by my wife to show how you can keep a flat stomach after two kids.
Okay so the final exercise is aimed more at the men and it does contain some VERY tough exercises, if you can’t do these particular exercises then alternative ones are mentioned.
So if you are looking for a short powerful workout to boost your upper body strength then give this one a shot.
So there are the three videos I hope you have enjoyed and found them useful.
To be honest, seeing your feedback from the survey, I need to do more videos for over 40’s and 50’s – beginners level.
Leave it with me guys, there will be lots more coming soon.
If you have missed any of the articles recently then here is a quick recap of the articles from the last month for you to catch up:

Once again I want to say thank you for those of you who that took part in my survey last week and responded. 100% of the people so far would recommend my blog to someone else, but that is no excuse to relax and take it easy so I’m going to keep on pushing and try to improve it constantly. I couldn’t have done any of it without you.
For those of you who haven’t done it and would like to have your say then here it is:
It takes less than 2 minutes and it will help to improve the quality of the content you read every week.
Thanks for reading,
