Today I’m talking last minute weight loss. Personal training member Maria asked:
“I’m going on holiday next week, what can I do?”
She was referring to her weight and wanted a quick fix, and I duly obliged.
There are so many crazy ways you can drop weight fast.
Illegal drugs, cutting calories, more exercise, starving yourself. Maybe you’ve tried some of that stuff yourself.
Now, I don’t agree with many of them, and they should never be used in the long term or repeated too often because they will break your ability to lose weight and STOP your results completely.
However some of the crash diet stuff, as you well know, works like a charm.
So I would expect Maria, who is already quite slim and follows my plan most weekdays (she struggles with the weekends) to lose 4-7lbs in a week, following the advice I gave her. So she will go on holiday and feel better about herself.
As i’ve said before, there is a right way and a wrong way to do all this fast weight loss malarkey. If you do it the wrong way, there can be serious consequences and you can make yourself ill. However, if you do it the right way, its like getting away with the perfect crime.
