Had A Bad Weekend? 3 Things To Do In The Next Hour To Make You Feel Better.

Rough weekend? Few too many drinks on a Saturday night? Pigged out on fatty foods all weekend?  Been stuck in work? So you’re feeling a bit delicate, maybe tired and low on energy and need a ‘pick me up’ to get you back feeling your best.

Here are 3 things to do in the next few hours to get you feeling better again:

  1. Drink loads of water – Drinking water is essential and is linked with so many health benefits. Drinking water is linked with weight loss and also helps reduce hunger. It is a natural remedy for a headache whilst improving your concentration levels and making you more alert. Drinking lots of water will flush out the toxins in your body and waste products this will reduce fatigue, make you more ready for exercise and improve your mood.
  2. Eat a healthy meal – Make yourself a nice healthy meal, include a lot of lean meat to get the much needed protein and nutrients into your body, whilst avoiding the heavy fat levels of other meat. The correct intake of protein can help to maintain muscle mass and fight disease and infection. Maybe have a day off carbs, can help to minimise fat gain. Put a nice healthy side salad/portion of veg on the side and there you have your nice healthy meal.
  3. Nice easy exercise session – Make sure that your food has been digested and gone down before you go rushing into exercise. Due to the rough weekend and the way you were feeling you don’t have to go killing yourself in this work out … anything from a nice relaxing swim or jog around the park can make you feel a lot better physically and mentally.

Personally I think there’s not too many better feelings than having a great work out session, coming home having a nice shower and then sit down and relax for the evening knowing you’ve eaten right and exercised your body in the right way. So hopefully these 3 things can transform your day and send you into the rest of the week feeling great! So what are you waiting for?
