Getting older is not a glamorous process.
In fact, you could say, it’s even painful.
Your body is generally starting to show signs of wear and tear.
Stiff and painful joints for example.
You start to accept that your body is past its best and decide you can no longer do certain things, all totally normal.
Just like Jacqui who has osteoarthritis in both knees and said something along the lines of:
“Rich, I cant squat because it hurts my knees”.
The main reasons I believe people are not able to squat and feel knee pain during squats are:
#1. Bad technique
#2. Wrong type of squat movement is used
#3. Muscle and joint imbalances from sitting at a desk all day
Which are all “fixable” by the way.
And, with that in mind, I don’t like to take no for an answer from people who say they can’t squat, as the squat is one of the most important exercises to maintain normal functioning in life.
Using my tried and tested method for squatting, after one session, and to her surprise, Jacqui is now squatting, PAIN FREE.
She is one of many who thought they couldn’t squat and were glad they were wrong.
So there they are, three reasons you can’t squat.
And as I said all fixable.
Can I help everyone squat pain free? No.
But you will never know unless you try.
To learn HOW to fix these issues quickly and discover if you CAN SQUAT PAIN FREE, even if you think you can’t, check out my programmes here:

PS – Are you are waiting for or have had a knee replacement (or double) surgery?
I currently have 5 clients in that position, pre op and post op, and 3 of them squat, with a few small adaptions to keep their knees safe.
And the other two can do lots of alternative exercises to keep their leg and hip muscles strong, all without hurting their knees.
