11 Reasons Why You’re NOT Losing Weight‏

My son has been unwell, and had four days off school.

My wife is ready to kill him so I think he is better and it’s time for him to go back to school.

I’m sitting comfortably in my favourite seat with the rain hammering down outside and I get this message:

“I haven’t lost any weight this week and I don’t know why”.

Ever had that happen to you?

It all starts off great, and then the results just stop.

This is where I really earn my crust. Figuring out what’s “wrong”.

Mostly if people follow the plan, they will lose weight.

But from time to time, people follow, or think they are following the plan and don’t lose any weight.

I try to teach students who wish to learn my wicked, but effective ways, that weight loss is just ONE INDICATOR that your plan is going ok.

But all the same, people want to see progress on the scales and it’s good for motivation.

Some people just give up when they stop losing weight and decide “what’s the point” and then they eat whatever the hell they like.

I can’t help people like that.

For the others who have patience and some staying power we try to figure out what’s going wrong.

We have a little checklist to see if we can get to the bottom of it.

The list:

1.  You blow it on weekends.
2.  You are eating too much
3.  You are eating too little
4.  You don’t drink enough water.
5.  You are still drinking alcohol too often.
6.  You are not being consistent.
7.  You are Impatient.
8.  You’re exercising too much.
9.  You’re not sleeping or you are stressed out
10. You don’t have much to lose (the last 7lbs is more tricky)
11. It’s ladies week.
