Hotel Room Workout

If you find yourself away on business or on holiday and want to keep up training here is a short effective workout which you can do with a bit of space and can be carried out in your hotel room … remember to do it within your room rather than scaring the other guests by doing press ups in the lift …

Circuit

  1. Squats
  2. Press Ups
  3. Sit ups
  4. Jacks
  5. Cross Ski
  6. Plank
  7. Lunge
  8. Press Ups
  9. Side plank (each side)

Others:

    • Side leg lifts
    • Kick backs – for your bum/glutes
    • Jumps
    • Core exercises

Do these exercises for 45 seconds each with 15 seconds rest.

Repeat twice

If you had a stretch band you could have a bit more variety with your upper body exercises…

  • Lateral and front raise
  • Shoulder press
  • Bicep curl

If you are going on holiday bringing a stretch band is a great idea and it can easily be packed into the suitcase … it’s a lot more practical than throwing your dumbbells in!!

Everyone needs a nice rest … exercising on holiday requires great motivation but a few short sessions is a great way of maintaining your fitness and not undoing all your hard work.
