Me On Radio Wales

Last Friday yours truly was on Radio Wales talking about the NHS.

It was the phone in.

You can check it out here for the next couple of weeks. I was on after the news at 9.35, so you can skip to that bit if you want to have a listen.

There I was last Friday listening to the show on my way to my next appointment.

It was the morning phone in, they debate the topic of the day.

People were all bumping their gums and giving the NHS a bashing, I’m guilty of this at times too.

Last week some figures were published which reflected badly on A & E.

Whilst listening I thought some people were missing an important point, a point that I have “preached” to you, the intelligent followers of my blog many times before.

Personal responsibility.

It pissed me off that people were running the GP’s and A & E down but in reality many people cause their own illnesses and health problems, and THEY help to clog up the system for the people who really need it.

Many people don’t look after themselves. Not even the basics like personal and oral hygiene.

People are letting themselves go and then they expect the Dr to make them feel better and the tax payer to pick up the pieces.

It makes me mad.

As you know I have a reputation for saying things the way they are, (it’s a gift what can I say 😉

So when I got my chance to speak live on national radio – I said it the way it is.

Check it out, I even managed to sneak a little tip in for all the pasty munching people who suffer with indigestion poor buggers 😉

Have a nice weekend,

Rich

PPS – Thanks for all your kind messages about the podcast finishing but there really is no reason to be sad, the 60 episodes are still there and I will have something new for you soon to keep you motivated and on track with your exercise and nutrition.
