Should You Exercise If You’re Already Tired?

Lets get it AAAWWWWNNNNN you hot mama!

Recently in my weekly “Diet Club” workshop, the girls and I discussed “what makes someone healthy?”.

I gave them a checklist.

Two (of the six) things on the list which show you’re healthy were:

1.  Having good levels of day to day energy

And

2.  Having a good nights sleep

Then one of the girls asked me this…

QUESTION: If I already feel tired, should I still exercise or will it just make me more tired?tired

What a great question.

So I’m gonna answer it for you today.

ANSWER: Sleep, energy and exercise are all linked.

if you’re not sleeping, or are feeling tired, should you still exercise?

In my opinion, Yes.

Light stuff like walking, cycling, swimming or short 10 minute workouts will do you good.

You see, energy is like a boomerang.

Once you “throw some energy” out, it comes right back at you.

Sometimes you may feel exhausted but still can’t sleep…

if you’re not exercising or physically active, it’s probably MENTAL FATIGUE.

Not physical fatigue (that’s why you may not be able to sleep).

So if you’re telling yourself you couldn’t possibly exercise because you’re too tired, have a re-think and give it a try and see for yourself how much MORE energy you will have during the following hours and days.

That’s all for today.
