He Just Didn’t Feel Horny

I was just asked to submit a few hundred words on the dangers of steroids for one of the newspapers.

I was asked to write some advice on how to naturally increase your testosterone.

It turned out to be a very useful bit of writing because it reminded me about one of my clients.

He was a bit reluctant to talk about it at first when I asked him about his libido.

But I could see something was wrong.

He said he wasn’t having sex with his wife very often, he just didn’t feel horny.

I won’t go in to the details but he had taken steroids in the past, but I’m not here to judge, lots of people have tried it, including me.

South Wales has been dubbed the steroid capital of Britain in the past, and as far as I can tell from the fours gyms I use, anabolic steroids are still a very popular choice for young and middle aged men in these parts.

The benefits are well documented but the dangers are often not talked about. Side effects include: Mood swings aka roid rage, steroid addiction, acne, body hair growth, baldness, shrinkage of the testicles, breast development, prostrate cancer and incredible hulk forehead.

If that little lot still doesn’t put you off, if you take it when you’re young, it may mess up your chances of having kids as it can make you infertile.

In my experience people usually take steroids to get bigger, let me give you some tips on how to get bigger and increase your testosterone naturally.

Eat good fat – Testosterone is made from fats. Eat normal butter, eggs, grass fed steak/beef with the fat on, avocados, extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, nuts and seeds, and oily fish.

Avoid alcohol, processed foods and sugar – these all lower your testosterone.

Eat lots of green vegetables – this removes any excess estrogen. Estrogen lowers testosterone, so anything which lowers that will help, for example switching personal products to organic – like soap, toothpaste, and deodorant.

Reduce your body fat levels – body fat produces estrogen which ultimately lowers your testosterone levels.

Reduce your stress – stress also reduces your testosterone.

If you are stressed take lots of vitamin C, this helps maintain your testosterone levels.

Lift heavy weights – most people would already be doing this I’m guessing.

Take a testosterone boosting supplement like D-Aspartate or macca powder.

Once you have done all this, see how things are and if they still have not improved see a Doctor.

You can see your GP, like my client did. He is now prescribed testosterone by his GP, safely. Testosterone is very beneficial for you if you don’t have any or your levels are low, too little can be just as bad as too much.

Low testosterone can cause men to become irritable, forgetful, have weaker erections and have a low sex drive.

Thanks for the replies to yesterdays soppy email.

I had lovely messages from lots of you ladies and a gay man (my awesome brother).

Take care, have a good weekend.
