“The Biggest Risk Is Not Taking Any Risks”

Here’s something you may find interesting.

Most people are risk averse.

By that I mean they mostly steer clear of things that will take them out of their comfort zones.

Most of us live well and truly INSIDE our comfort zones our entire lives, doing the things that come easiest.

And there’s nothing wrong with that.

For the lucky few, that approach to life works out just great.

For others, living in their comfort zones will invariably end in disaster and ironically, lots of DISCOMFORT.

It starts with gaining weight, feeling and looking like crap. This, if left long enough leads to you being in ill health.

And ultimately, despite you having the money to more or less do what you like, you will have a crappy retirement to look forward to, not being able to do what you want, and going back and forth to the hospital all the time.

Mark Zuckerberg (co-founder of Facebook) said this:
“The biggest risk is not taking any risk…in a world that is changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks”.

And I must say I agree.

I’ve always been of the mindset that with risk comes reward.

And we’re not even talking about REAL risk, like risking life or limb climbing Everest, we are talking about taking a risk like stopping eating crap, and drinking more water.

Hardly risky.

BUT if the thought of eating healthily and drinking more water scares you, you’re probably not ready to make any changes yet.
