11 Mistakes That Keep Even Smart People Fat

It is being suggested, by far more learned scholars than I, that modern humans are constantly sedating themselves or distracting themselves (their brains) from what’s actually important.

Making these mistakes keeps even smart people fat.

What does “sedating and distracting” even mean?

Apparently, we are so messed up, and bored by life, we need to be either distracted from “reality” or sedated, so we don’t have to think about it.

I see the effects of it, all around us, all of the time.

People wasting their time away, and looking and feeling like they’re busy, but spending a huge amount of time on their phones or out partying and indulging, but don’t have the time to cook a proper meal.

Just look, and you will see, people are never “present”, and need a regular injection in their veins from things in the list below (at the cost of their bodies, their kids and their entire existence).

Some are saying its an addiction, and we are all doomed!


Methods Of Sedation:
1. Alcohol
2. Drugs
3. Prescription Medications
4. Food
5. Sex
6. Exercise
7. Gambling

Methods Of Distraction:
8. Phones
9. Tablets/Laptops/Screens and The Internet/Social Media
10. TV
11. Magazines


Of course, plenty of people partake in these activities without any ill effects.

However for some, they can cause problems, especially if you never get anything done because you OVER SEDATE yourself and are and are always EASILY (some may say HAPPILY) DISTRACTED, from what’s actually important in your life.

The lessons are: to use these techniques, but don’t abuse them, and try to fill your life with other, more productive (and less destructive) activities.
