Today I want to share a procrastination BUSTER. I use to get stuff done, a millionaire taught it to me.
If you’re like me you have some days when you are super productive, others, when you are like a sloth on valium and really unproductive.
If you don’t FEEL tip top, the smallest task can take forever.
Imagine having those productive days EVEN WHEN you don’t feel like doing anything….
Well you can. I will share a simple method I use to GET STUFF DONE EVEN when I feel like staying in bed.
Being self employed I have had PLENTY of time to figure out how to BE PRODUCTIVE when I don’t feel like it.
What I noticed was that unless I set an amount of time to get something done the task always takes me longer than it should.
The task EXPANDS to the time I allow it.
Like a task which can be done in 20-30 minutes, can sometimes take hours.
I guess it’s a form of PROCRASTINATION.
Approximate how long it should take.
Start the stopwatch
And go go go
It works like magic for me.
It FOCUSES the mind.
STOPS me getting distracted and pissing around.
REMINDS me how much time I waste when I don’t plan things.
I’m telling you this because you say to me that you DON’T HAVE ENOUGH TIME.
Well this SAVES time.
Shed loads of it too…you can thank me later 😉
And of course the same is true for people who are trying to lose weight.
If they don’t have a time frame to focus the mind
The task of weight loss, expands to take up what time they have allowed (their entire life).
Has your weight loss taken over your entire life?
When it could have been done in 6-12 months or so.
If you have been struggling with procrastination and seem to be taking FOREVER to lose the weight you want give your task a time frame.
It will really help focus your mind.
And speed things up…kinda like a kick up the backside.
