I Was Mean & Cruel (To Be Kind)

Recently someone said I was . . . Mean.

It was because of something I said during a class – specifically when I said:

I will leave you alone if you are not following a plan“.

Why would I say this?

Is it because I’m some kind of cruel bar-steward?

No, it’s just for the best.

I have said this to lots of people,

Because, if I keep asking them

how’s the food going?

Or “Send me a food diary so I can help you.

it can be a soul destroying process for all concerned.

So it’s easier to focus on what they ARE doing rather than what they are NOT.

Many people are not cut out to follow a diet per se.

They don’t think for themselves.

They won’t try new things.

And can’t really be bothered to put the necessary effort in for any kind of sustainable long term success.

Now I’m not saying they are incapable of succeeding.

(all the information you need is out there)

Just that they won’t do what’s necessary.

Even more…

Most people are better off living their lives in their comfort zone, sitting on the sidelines, watching others have all the success.

It’s safer. And easier.

Trying hard is simply not enough.

There is a certain “mindset” at play.

Where the best performers (who ultimately make it) are not afraid to admit when they are the problem.

To mess up and take responsibility.

To be honest with themselves.

And whatever else is necessary to get the job done. (without doing anything unhealthy of course)

This is why my online program has been a blessing for many of my subscribers.

One of the “unadvertised” bonuses is you get to see what other “successful” performers are doing to get results.

We bounce around solutions to help problems like stress, anxiety and sleep.

Critique food diaries.

And exchange ideas and experiences.
