Why everything you’ve been told about SALT is wrong

Personal training client Mary Cratchley writes:

“Hi Richard & Marilyn, Another interesting article you may like to read. Confirms what you’ve already taught me!”

The summary of the article she sent me said:

“Top scientist says all you’ve been told about salt is WRONG: It won’t give you a heart attack – while having too little will make you fat and ruin your sex life. The dangerous myth that salt raises blood pressure began more than 100 years ago, with French scientists Ambard and Beauchard. They based their findings on studies of just six patients”.

I’ve been banging on about this for close to 10 years.

There is a whole chapter devoted to it in my book, The New Rules Of Weight Loss.

In the chapter I explain what the new advice regarding salt is.

Basically, salt is important.

Salt is found in every cell in your body, so it’s fair to say it’s CRITICAL to the everyday functioning of that body of yours.

The old rules of weight loss advised you to AVOID salt like the plague. However, now, the NEW rules advise that you NEED salt. However, it must be the right kind and in the right amount.

Members who’ve avoided it for years love it, because it changes the taste of food so much and they still drop lots of timber, fast.

I teach these new rules on ALL my programmes, the slimming club, personal training and online, these rules form the structure of my entire approach to health, and of course slimming down.

Every day’s a school day.

To read the full chapter and learn all of my New Rules of Weight Loss, you’ll need to sign up to one of my programmes.
