One of my favourite things to do to relax is to watch a documentary.
I know I’m such a party animal.
Personally I think David Attenborough is the king of documentaries.
But I may have discovered a new contender for that title.
I have been watching Dr Brian Coxs’ documentaries on the BBC.
One particular episode about the Maasai Warrior tribe really caught my attention, especially because I have visited them once when my wife and I went on safari to Kenya. (amazing by the way if you ever get the chance)
In order to be a REAL Maasai Warrior you need to wear ochre jewellery, wear red clothes, drink blood and be able to jump like a cat on hot bricks, amongst other things.
It’s all part of their upbringing and becoming an official grown up tribal member.
Anyway, all this drinking blood and jumping around got me thinking.
We have our tribes too, (you may be a member of more than one):
-A Fitness and Gym Tribe
-Weight Loss and Slimming Tribe
-Love To Overeat Eat/Drink Tribe
-Couldn’t Care Less Tribe
You get the idea.
All the tribes have different processes for the uninitiated to become initiated.
To be accepted as a real adult, in my tribe, you need to eat proper meals and look after yourself.
So if you want to become an initiated member of my fitness and or slimming tribegrab your spear and go here to drink some blood (3 options):
