I read your emails daily and I just wanted to say I’m glad you’re a straight talker. I read one of your messages last week around discouraging members coming to the club if their heart isn’t really in the space to lose weight.
It struck a chord!
We’re lucky, like you to have a caravan and we go away nearly every weekend. We have a very busy week and total chill out on a Sat. That has seen me slipping more and more on weekends and then fretting when weds eve comes along.
But I’ve seen some great weight losses in the people around me over the past few weeks in class. My sister joined and lost 8lbs in her first week this week. Your message really made me think about the impact that I may have on the class as in order to do our best you really want to be inspired by others don’t you? Not dragged down.
So, I just wanted to say that you have inspired me to do better, Kick my ass into shape and try harder!
I’m not doing bad. I’ve lost 9lb since I’ve been there but I don’t want to fall off the wagon and it’s so easy to meander off the road. So here I am, in my caravan on Sat morning, writing to say “thanks”. Please keep the straight talking coming!

Weekends can really make or break a plan, its so hard NOT to have a few treats.
The caravan, and weekends in general are there to be enjoyed, but the trick is not to undo all the hard work you’ve done in the week.
So in addition to making my “new rules of weight loss” plan easy to follow, with lots of delicious meals planned for Friday and Saturday nights, I’ve also designed a weekend diet. It includes bread and other so called junk foods so you can enjoy your eating whilst making sure you have still lost weight by Monday.
