How To Make Your Friends Jealous

Do you ever get jealous of others?

Don’t worry, it’s quite natural.

We look at others and see what they HAVE or where they ARE in life and want that for ourselves.

Jealously is an emotion.

It refers to thoughts and feelings of insecurity, fear and concern.

Now I haven’t tested this out but it’s a story I have been told and have been telling for many years…

It’s about crabs.

If you put a crab in a bucket on its own, apparently, it can climb out.

However if you put two or more crabs in a bucket, none of them can climb out.

Why?

Let me explain…

When there is more than one crab in a bucket and one of them “makes a break for it”.

The others, pull it back into the bucket.

If crabs could talk, it’s kinda saying:

If I can’t get outa here, then neither are you

Just like Amanda who told me her friends are jealous that she is fit.

They are just like the crabs in the bucket, trying to pull her back in.

Go on, one drink won’t harm

You look great, you don’t need to get fit

Just like the crabs, if they can’t get fit, they don’t want her to get fit either.

But she doesn’t care, in fact she likes it.

She is a leader, not a follower.

She is now “out of the bucket”, so to speak.

She said it feels good to be the envy of her little group of friends.

And her very best friend has been inspired and wants to join her and get fit herself too.

So if you want to make your friends jealous…

Just get fit and in shape, they will HATE you for it, because your doing what they won’t/can’t do.
